Thank you folks for a wonderful semester! I had fun and learnt a bit about teaching and was very glad to have you wonderful people in my class. Thanks again for making it worthwhile. Enjoy your summer now that you are free from your "enslaving" course work:)
I will be on campus next semester if you would like to collect your papers. If you want them back anytime after this week, please e-mail me. I will be in Berkshire to see Dr. Pruss on Monday morning just in case you want to collect your papers then.
The very best to you all!

For Wednesday's Class
1. Please discuss your opinions of Jing-mei's mother in Amy Tan's short story "Two Kinds" (1222). Do you think she's simply being a good mother who wishes the best for her child?
2. What do you think of the daughter, Jing-mei? Why does she turn against her mother? Does she give herself a chance to try and be her best? Please address any aspect of the story you wish to.
